Winners: HUGO Create...

Our latest challenge promised the most exciting prize HUGO Create has ever offered. We are flying five stencil art creators to Berlin to paint their entries at a live event featuring the most innovative of the city’s talent, including legendary urban artist Blek Le Rat.

Valentine's Win...

On Valentine’s Day, we asked you to send us a visual ode to your favorite spot in your city – a photograph that depicts why you love your town.

Here are the ones that caught our eye.

Aleksandar Topic sent us a dramatic photo of a mysterious destination underneath an overpass, somewhere he goes with his best friend. The movement of the cars contrasting with the motionless architecture gave the piece an urban, dizzying feel.

Huge HUGO

We’re all into minimalism at HUGO Create, but we admit it, sometimes bigger can be better. And when we saw that one of the top ten winners of the Season’s Greetings challenge had made their entry into a bigger-than-life sized format, we were in awe.

So we got in touch with Natasha Shaloshvili, a 25 year old creative from Ukraine, who illustrated this beautiful winning artwork. She explained the process that led to super-sizing her design, and even illustrated the thought process that led her to it.
